Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Zayf Medical, we aim to provide accessible, professional and patient-centred healthcare. To ensure appointments remain available for those who need them, we ask all patients to familiarise themselves with our cancellation and refund policy.

1. Appointment Bookings

Appointments may be booked online, by telephone or in person.Payment may be required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.

2. Cancellation and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice.Appointments cancelled with more than 24 hours' notice will be eligible for a full refund or may be rescheduled without charge.Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed appointments (non-attendance), will not normally be eligible for a refund.We understand that emergencies can arise. Exceptional circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

3. Consultation Fees

Consultation fees are charged for the professional time, expertise and clinical advice provided by your doctor.Once a consultation has taken place, fees are non-refundable, regardless of whether:

You decide not to proceed with any recommended investigations or treatment

A referral is not required

A prescription is not issued

The consultation does not result in a diagnosis.

4. Diagnostic Tests and Investigations

Fees for blood tests, ECGs, laboratory investigations and other diagnostic services are generally non-refundable once samples have been taken, tests have been requested, or services have been performed.If a test cannot be completed for reasons within our control, an alternative appointment or refund may be offered where appropriate.

5. Referrals, Letters and Medical Reports

Fees paid for referral letters, medical reports, certificates and other administrative services are non-refundable once the work has commenced or the document has been issued.

6. Right to Decline Services

We reserve the right to decline requests for investigations, prescriptions, certificates, referrals or other services where these are not considered clinically appropriate.Where a service cannot be provided for clinical reasons before work has commenced, any fees paid for that service will normally be refunded. Consultation fees remain payable for professional advice and assessment already provided.
